Lõunakeskus is the only trade park and the biggest shopping centre in South Estonia. Lõunakeskus – that is more than 160 different shops and service providers on 66,000 square metres and over four million visitors a year.

We employ more than 1500 people.

Lõunakeskus is a valued recreational spot for the whole family. We have a full-size, year-round Ice Skating Rink, AHHAA 4D adventure cinema, traffic learning centre with electric cars for children, sports club, Science Centre AHHAA, and many other exciting facilities.

Lõunakeskus also has a variety of good dining establishments: a wide selection of affordable, homelike food, Asian and Italian cuisine, dignified and traditional café atmosphere, pleasant fast food restaurants, and an internet café. All dining establishments have free WiFi. 

Our parking lot contains 1650 free parking spaces.

HISTORY

The team of Lõunakeskus has a lot of experience in trade – the Astri store chain, belonging to the same owners, was the market leader in retail sales of essential commodities in South Estonia from 1993 to 2000 and in Narva from 1995 to 2000. Currently, we are operating in the same markets and in a similar field. In Narva, we manage three shopping centres: Astri, Fama and Tempo.

Lõunakeskus was opened in 2001 on 15,000 square metres.

The trade park has been expanded in various stages:

2002 - Sotka furniture store

2003 - Bauhof

2005 – Main building extension Ice Skating Rink

2006 - Asko furniture store and Hawaii Express sports store

2009 – the main building extension of Lõunakeskus was completed; the trade park was expanded by 25,000 square metres. A new anchor tenant was added – Rimi Hypermarket.

The number of visitors has increased from 2.4 million in the opening year to 4.2 million in 2009.
